We’ve given you a nice long (fourteen minutes!) Game of Thrones Season 2 recap featurette, and a brief written Season 2 synopsis. Now we bring you (drumroll please)… a Season 1 AND 2 featurette! I laughed when I first saw that this had been released, until I actually started watching it. Wow have they ever taken us a long way since the beginning of Season 1. Watching it is like watching the first Harry Potter movie. Everyone is so young and relatively innocent and happy… and alive.

If you’ve never seen Game of Thrones and are considering jumping into the fray when Season 3 begins on March 31, this will give you an idea of what to expect, plus some familiarity with some of the characters. If you’re a veteran GoT viewer, wait until you see all the people we’ve lost:
