Sure we all love/hate Klaus, even though his machinations didn’t seem to slow down upon his return to New Orleans in the “special episode” of the Vampire Diaries that served as a pilot for The Originals. But the vamp who really made an impression in that episode was the vamp who took over when Klaus left town.

This character may add just the kick the new series needs to help distinguish it from its Mystic Falls predecessor. Unfortunately we’ll have to wait until October to find out. So many good things to come in October…
