New Clip From the Upcoming Return of TRON: UPRISING Takes Us Back to the Grid


If you haven’t seen the very excellent animated series Tron: Uprising, you owe it to yourself to check it out. It comes from Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis (Tron: Legacy, Lost), has uniquely stylized animation that makes it a visual treat, and features the voices of Elijah Wood (Lord of the Rings trilogy) as Beck, Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica) as the voice of the Grid, and Bruce Boxleitner reprising his role from the original movie as the title character, Tron.

The series is set on the Grid and falls between the movies Tron and Tron: Legacy in the Tron timeline. It premiered back in May with seven episodes, and returns with new episodes on Friday, October 19 at 8/7c on Disney XD. Here’s a clip:

In this exclusive clip, Tron tries to bring the Programs and the ISO’s together peacefully in the name of Flynn, only to have it sabotaged in the process. Will the tensions between the ISOs and the Programs boil over across the Grid?
