Back in late March, we brought you the first trailer for DreamWorks Animation’s Rise of the Guardians, based on William Joyce’s Guardians of Childhood books. This animated film brings our heroes from our childhood back to the forefront of our lives as they assemble to battle baddie, Pitch.

Rise of the Guardians is directed by Peter Ramsey (Monsters vs Aliens) with a script by David Lindsay-Abiare and is produced by Guillermo del Toro and William Joyce.

Synopsis:

RISE OF THE GUARDIANS is an epic adventure that tells the story of a group of heroes – each with extraordinary abilities. When an evil spirit known as Pitch lays down the gauntlet to take over the world, the immortal Guardians must join forces for the first time to protect the hopes, beliefs and imagination of children all over the world.

Rise of the Guardians is slated to hit theaters in 3D on November 21st, 2012.
