Amazon Studios’ series production of Zombieland has cast its first three of the four leads that will be in the show. First is Tyler Ross who will be playing Columbus. Second is Izabela Vidovic who will be playing Little Rock. Both are up-and-coming actors, while Maiara Walsh, whom you may recognize from Switched at Birth or Desperate Housewives, will be playing Little Rock’s older sister Wichita. All of these rolls are reprised from the major motion picture, Zombieland.

The plot is said to be a continuation of adventures by the four characters, Tallahassee, Columbus (Ross), Wichita (Walsh), and her younger sister Little Rock (Vidovic), with Ross, Walsh and Vidovic taking roles held in the movie by Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin. The story will continue to follow this group as they battle zombies with more comedy than we see in The Walking Dead.

I imagine that the next news we hear will undoubtedly be the casting of the other lead, Tallahassee, who was played by Woody Harrelson. There isn’t an air date as of yet.
