Just a couple of weeks ago, we had our first official images of Chris Evans (as Steve Rogers/Captain America), Haley Atwell (as Peggy Carter), Hugo Weaving (as Johann Schmidt, a.k.a. The Red Skull), Stanley Tucci (as Doctor Abraham Erskine) and Richard Armitage (as Heinz Kruger).

The picture of Armitage showed him piloting a HYDRA submarine, and in previous shots we’ve seen some HYDRA soldiers on their motorcycles. Now, thanks to MarvelMovieNews we get to see fantastic shots of some awesome looking HYDRA tanks on the Aldershot, U.K. set of director Joe Johnston‘s upcoming Marvel Studios film, Captain America: The First Avenger.

The film stars Chris Evans, Hugo Weaving, Tommy Lee Jones, Neal McDonough, Sebastian Stan, Dominic Cooper, Hayley Atwell and Toby Jones.

Captain America: The First Avenger is slated to hit theaters on July 22nd, 2011.
