Another new Batman animated DVD is in the works based on a 2005 fan favorite story in which the Dark Knight fights yet another vigilante, Red Hood, who “doesn’t mind cleaning up Gotham by leaving dead bodies in his wake.” The DVD will be titled “Batman: Under the Red Hood” and stars Bruce Greenwood (Star Trek) as Batman, John DiMaggio (Futurama) will voice the Joker, Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter franchise) will voice Ra’s Al Ghul, Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester, Supernatural) will voice Red Hood and Neil Patrick Harris (Dr. Horrible) will voice Nightwing.

The script was penned by Judd Winick, who rote the original 2005 comic, and is directed by “Superman Doomsday” co-director Brandon Vietti.

The first promo for the DVD will be attached to the Justice League DVD “Crisis on Two Earths, which will be released on February 23rd
