Take a look at Gerard Butler‘s new film, “Gamer“, written and directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (both on Crank and Crank: High Voltage, upcoming Jonah Hex).
“Slayers” is the game that these convicts are forced to play. No, they aren’t slaying vampires, but rather each other in a real live-action video game where each convict is controlled by an outside person. If they survive a certain number of games, the convict gets to go free like in Death Race and just as deadly.
“Gamer” is due out September 4th.
