Neil Gaiman Talks About SANDMAN As HBO-Style Series

Back in February, director Matthew Vaughn (“Kick Ass”) talked about his interest in adapting Neil Gaiman’s “Sandman” epic comic book stories into a film. Vaughn and Gaiman have partnered up before on a film adaptation of Gaiman’s novel, “Stardust” in 2007. “Sandman” ran from 1989 till 1996 on DC’s Vertigo label and follows “The Lord of the Dreams as he acclimates to the modern world and its mythologies after being imprisoned for decades.”
