Must Watch! What the Green Goblin in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man Could Have Been

If you thought the Green Goblin in director Sam Raimi‘s Spider-Man movie was a bit too plastic-looking, with all of that armor and the solid, expressionless mask over Willem Dafoe‘s head, you’ll probably find it incredibly depressing that they didn’t use this other design instead.

Check out this awesome makeup test video from Amalgamated Dynamics Incorporated (ADI) that shows a more traditional comic book-style Goblin design.

I think that even if they hadn’t used this design in its entirety, if we had been able to see Dafoe’s facial expressions with an animated prosthetic like this, some of his dialogue may have come off with a bit more flair. What do you think? Let me know in the comments.
