According to Variety, Morgan Freeman is in talks to star opposite Bruce Willis in the espionage thriller “Red” for Summit Entertainment.

Based on the Warren Ellis-penned three-book graphic novel, the story follows a former black-ops CIA agent now living a quiet life in retirement until the day a high-tech assassin shows up intent on killing him.

Erich Hoeber and Jon Hoeber are penning the script while Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian are producing.
