The upcoming series from J.J. Abrams and former Fringe showrunner J.H. Wyman has a cool premise, an eye-popping look, and a stellar cast. It’s set in a future that requires all police to have android partners. Star Karl Urban‘s character, a detective, is “hesitant” about this requirement.

His assigned partner Dorian (Michael Ealy), an earlier and “more human” model than most of his synthetic kin (think “Lor”, TNG fans), has his work cut out for him.
