Matthew Vaughn and Mark Millar Team Up to Create and Adapt THE SECRET SERVICE


Earlier today, we brought you the news about Universal Pictures being in negotiations to snag the rights to Mark Millar and Tony Harris‘ comic book series, War Heroes. Earlier this month, we also brought you the news about director Matthew Vaughn (X-Men: First Class) picking up the rights to Millar’s comic book series, Superior.

Now, THR reports that Matthew Vaughn has teamed up with Millar and Dave Gibbons (Watchmen) on a new comic book project titled The Secret Service. Story details are under being kept under wraps, but co-creator Matthew Vaughn holds the movie rights for the project and it’s assumed that he will pen the script with long-time collaborator Jane Goldman (The Woman in Black).

No production or release dates have been announced for The Secret Service.
