Marvel’s BLADE Anime Series Slices Its Way Onto the Small Screen

Marvel and Madhouse have indeed been busy developing anime versions of Marvel properties such as X-Men, Wolverine, Iron Man, and a marvelous interpretation of Blade. The Blade anime series, takes its inspiration from the Wesley Snipes film trilogy, comic series, as well as the short-lived television series. Mitsuyuki Masuhara (Kobato) directed the anime with Kenta Fukasuka‘s (Battle Royale) script.

In the anime, the story takes Blade to Japan in search of baddie Deacon Frost. Blade teams up with a young vampire hunter woman, Makoto, along with Noah Van Helsing and his canine companion Razor. Sounds like a fierce slaying trinity, don’t it?
