We brought you the news last month that director Peter Sollett (Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist) had jumped on board to direct the big screen adaptation of Marvel’s Runaways. Runaways was created by Brian K. Vaughan (Lost) and Adrian Alphona.

Now, Deadline reports that Marvel Studios has hired British television writer Drew Pearce (No Heroics) to write the script. Pearce’s UK superhero sitcom No Heroics is set in modern-day Britain and focuses on the love lives and day-to-day trials of a group of friends who just happen to be off-duty superheroes.
