Mark Your Calendars for The CW’s Sci-Fi Season Finales


Yesterday The CW announced its schedule for season finales and midseason premieres. We’re going to save you all the time it would take to figure out what’s important and just tell you about the sci-fi shows. We’ll also tell you when the shows, which are all currently airing repeats, return with new episodes. Pencils ready?

Fan favorite The Vampire Diaries (8:00-9:00 p.m.) and rookie series The Secret Circle (9:00-10:00 p.m.), which return with new episodes on March 15, conclude their season runs on Thursday, May 10. Spy-fi thriller Nikita  (8:00-9:00 p.m.) and the beloved Supernatural (9:00-10:00 p.m.), which return with new episodes on March 16, finish their seasons on Friday, May 18.

If anything changes we’ll let you know. As always, check your local listings to confirm. With shows ending in early May, it’s going to be a long, long summer.

The Vampire Diaries, starring Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley, airs Thursdays at 8/7c on The CW.

The Secret Circle, starring Britt Robertson, Thomas Dekker, and Natasha Henstridge, airs Thursdays at 9/8c on The CW.

Nikita, starring Maggie Q and Shane West, airs Fridays at 8/7c on The CW.

Supernatural, starring Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, airs Fridays at 9/8c on The CW.
