Marc Guggenheim Departs FLASHFORWARD, Leaving David Goyer As Sole Showrunner


marc guggenheimCo-showrunner and executive producer Marc Guggenheim (pictured right) is leaving ABC’s “FlashForward”.  The “Eli Stone” co-creator was brought on to assist David Goyer who had ‘limited hands on TV series experience’ in launching the series after the pilot.

Rumors are circling that the network didn’t like the way the story-telling of the show was evolving since Guggenheim’s involvement.   ABC has ordered a full season of “FlashForward”.   Goyer will be running the show solo.  Show co-creator Brannon Braga, is co-executive producing Fox’s next season of “24” and was unavailable to run “FlashForward”.

FlashForward” is on ABC, Thursdays 8/7 C.
