Lost Star Lands on ONCE UPON A TIME

It is a good time to be a Lost castmember. Earlier today we told you about Jacob (Mark Pellegrino) getting a guest spot on Grimm. Now we have word that Claire (Emilie de Ravin), seen in just a couple of episodes of Once Upon a Time in Season 1, has been promoted to regular castmember.

TVLine broke the news late yesterday. de Ravin plays Belle, the Beauty in the Beauty and the Beast story that also featured Robert Carlyle as Mr. Gold on the Storybrooke side, Rumplestiltskin on the fairy tale side of this split universe series. It’s a charming part, even though the poor woman found herself going from pretty to bedraggled in this show, just as she did on The Island.

And she’s not the only one who is getting a promotion. Meghan Ory, who plays Red on the series, has also been boosted to series regular, according to Deadline. Although her part was moderately interesting in the Storybrooke side, it was really interesting on the fairy tale land side, in a terrific twist on the Big Bad Wolf story.

We’re hoping to see each of the women get medieval on the evil Smoke Monster cloud of magic that was heading towards Storybrooke at the end of Season 1. How about you?

Once Upon a Time Season 2, starring Jennifer Morrison, Ginnifer Goodwin, Josh Dallas, Robert Carlyle, and Lana Parrilla, will air Sundays at 8/7c in the fall on ABC.
