Lost Showrunner Hires Ageless Island Protector and More for BATES MOTEL

We have been keeping you informed about the upcoming A&E series Bates Motel (a prequel to the Hitchcock classic Psycho), whose showrunner Carlton Cuse is a former co-showrunner of Lost. The very talented Mr. Cuse has been tweeting about the progress of the show, including some news that has sent Losties to island heaven.

He tweeted:

Freddie Highmore is on the left in the picture above and may look familiar; he played Charlie in 2005’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Max Theriot, the man in the center picture above, is in the newly-released The House at the End of the Street opposite Jennifer Lawrence.

Fun stuff, right? But just yesterday came this island-shaking tweet:

Nestor Carbonell, whose natural pigmentation around the eyes has caused some people to accuse him of wearing “guyliner,” played the ageless Richard Alpert on Lost, as well as appearing in countless other movies and shows, including The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. He is wonderful and WE ARE SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS.

Here’s a quick reminder of some of the other show details:
