Andrew Lazar‘s Mad Chance and Circle of Confusion are joining forces to bring IDW Publishing‘s graphic novel Lore, created by Ashley Wood and T.P. Louise to theaters. Cory Goodman (Priest) and Jeremy Lott will write the screenplay.

THR says the producers want to create an action-adventure franchise similar to Men In Black, only this one focuses on mythological creatures. The story centers on “a young man who reluctantly becomes a member of an elite secret order charged with protecting humanity from the beasts of folklore who invade our world.”
