Back in June, we brought you the possibly spoilery tid-bit about actor Liam Neeson (The Grey, Battleship) being seen on the London set of The Dark Knight Rises, reportedly shooting a scene as Ra’s Al Ghul. It wasn’t (and still isn’t) known if Neeson was filming a flashback, if the scene was set in the present day, or if his appearance has anything to do with the oft-rumored-to-appear Lazarus Pits.
While speaking with ShowbizSpy during a recent interview, Neeson commented on the supposed secret scene after confirming that he is indeed returning to the Bat-franchise:
“I can tell you nothing about Dark Knight Rises, seriously. I was on set for maybe an hour-and-a-half and the director didn’t tell me anything of what it’s about. So, I’m being very honest when I say I have no idea what’s going to happen.”
So there you have it. Neeson did shoot a scene, will likely be in the movie, but we still don’t know squat other than that. Gotta love Nolan’s secrecy and loyal cast members!
