Leonard Nimoy To Guest Star On BIG BANG THEORY? Sheldon Might Have Geekgasm

Now we know that Dr. Sheldon Cooper (played by Jim Parsons) ready has a restraining order from Leonard Nimoy, but he just might have a geekgasm if the “Star Trek” star does a cameo on CBS’s hit show “The Big Bang Theory”. Executive producer Bill Prady talks about getting Nimoy onboard:

“We’ll probably make a general inquiry. And if there’s enough interest, we’ll develop a story. The fans have said that’s the dream get, and we agree.”

This isn’t the first time that Nimoy has been approached to appear on the show. They approached him back in season two, but Nimoy turned it down. Prady speculates:

“There’s always an issue with actors playing themselves which most actors would rather not do.”

But what if it’s not Leonard Nimoy after all? What if it’s a clone of Leonard Nimoy? Penny did give Sheldon a napkin that Leonard Nimoy used. Could Sheldon grow his own Leonard Nimoy? Prady says:

“I think [cloning Nimoy] is beyond even Sheldon’s capabilities at this point. Although I wouldn’t underestimate him.”
