The very lovely and talented Lena Headey, who portrays Cersei Lannister on the hit HBO series Game of Thrones, will be seen in Dredd, the forthcoming Judge Dredd adaptation as the villainous Madeline ‘Ma-Ma’ Madrigal, and of course you may remember her from the Fox series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, where she played the titular Sarah Connor, or as Queen Gorgo in Zack Snyder’s big screen trip to Thermopylae with 300.
Now, Showblitz reports that Headey has scored the female lead in the Universal Pictures film Vigilandia, starring opposite Ethan Hawke (Total Recall). While Vigilandia is being billed as a Sci-Fi thriller, very little else is known about the story. The film was written and is being directed by James DeMonaco, who penned and produced Assault on Precinct 13.
Vigilandia is slated to hit theaters in 2013.
