For those of you who have, in fact, been living under rocks or in caves or elsewhere and have somehow missed the news, I’ll say it once again, as I do once or twice every season. Teen Wolf the series is NOTHING LIKE Teen Wolf the movie. As we head in to Season 4, however, the very dark nature of this smart, engaging, addicting show just might lighten up. But only a little.

The trailer for the new season was released earlier this week, and now we have a behind-the-scenes featurette that gives us even more insight into what’s to come. We also have a press release (including confirmation of a new season of Wolf Watch), and two TV spots, each of which actually have even more new footage. Thanks, MTV!

MTV‘s hit scripted drama “Teen Wolf” will return for the 12-episode fourth season on Monday, June 23 at 10:00 p.m. ET. This season, still healing from tragic losses, Scott, Stiles, Lydia and Kira return to a new semester of school with more human worries than supernatural, while also trying to help their new friend, Malia, integrate back into society. But Kate Argent’s surprising resurrection brings a new threat to Beacon Hills along with the emergence of another mysterious enemy known simply as The Benefactor. Immediately following each episode of “Teen Wolf,” MTV will once again air “Wolf Watch.” The half-hour talk show is hosted by Jill Wagner, who plays “Kate Argent” in “Teen Wolf” and gives fans even more insight into the hit series, covering topics ranging from the heavy mythology elements featured in the season, to the steamy romances and hilarious bromances that run rampant between the series’ supernatural high-schoolers. The series will welcome guest appearances by “Teen Wolf” cast members sharing behind-the-scenes secrets and celebrity super fans will also drop in to get some of the answers viewers crave from week to week.
