Lacey Turner (“Eastenders”) is joining the supernatural cast of the BBC’s “Being Human”. Her character called Lia, is a supernatural creature of some sort, and has something to do with the vampire, Mitchell’s (Aidan Turner) past. (Turner is pictured above with Aidan Turner.)

Turner’s character is part of season three for the show. Her reflections on her experience on “Being Human” are gracious and only a tiny bit revealing about her character:

“It was fantastic working on Being Human, I had some great scenes with Aidan Turner, especially when his character Mitchell is facing up to some of the things he has done in the past. The cast and crew were really welcoming and I can’t wait to watch how the story comes together on screen when the series airs.”

The only clue leaked about her role in the storyline is that “Mitchell meets Lia whilst on ‘the other side’ as he attempts a rescue mission to try and save Annie. Lia attempts to steer him on his journey, but whether the outcome is good or bad is yet to be seen”.

BBC America will be airing the second season of “Being Human” beginning July 24, 2010. The third season of the show is currently being filmed in Cardiff, UK.
