Writer Kevin Williamson, who has been penning the newest in Scream sequels, sat down and talked with MTV about the upcoming production. Here is what he had to say:
“The fourth one is an ensemble. It’ll take place right now, 10 years later, and it’s going to take place in [Sidney Prescott’s hometown of] Woodsboro. We’ll have our three main characters, and we’ll be introducing several more. We’ll also be introducing a little group, a little ensemble of new castmembers. That’ll take us through the next three.”
That would mean all the way to Scream 6. Right now though he is only under contract until Scream 5. We already know that Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courtney Cox will be returning and Wes Craven has already said that he loves the script that was pitched to him.
