JONAH HEX Heads Back For ReShoots And Adds 12 More Pages To The Script

Jimmy Hayward, is rounding up his Jonah Hex cast and heading for 10 days of re-shoots on his upcoming live action debut, Jonah Hex. Heat Vision is reporting that stars Josh Brolin, John Malkovich, Megan Fox and Michael Fassbender will be a part of the re-shoots in Los Angeles. While re-shoots are rarely a good sign, they will reportedly be adding 12 pages of additional script, along with some re-shoots and Hayward will be joined by “I Am Legend” helmer Francis Lawrence, who was brought in last month to act as a consultant.

The movie originally was scheduled to open Aug. 6, 2010, but was then moved up to June 18–the middle of the summer tentpole season. Some insiders said the new infusion of scenes and money was designed to fix certain problems with the movie; others have said it’s being done to beef up the moderately budgeted pic so that it can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the big-budget tentpole crowd.

Jonah Hex hits theaters June 18th, 2010.
