Wonder if Daenerys would mind if Jon Snow played with her dragons? Not only will Game of Thrones star Kit Harington be tangling with dragons of a different sort, but he’ll also switch sides to the dark side. Harington may be DreamWorks’ newest villain.
According to Variety, Harington is in talks to lend his voice to the DreamWorks Animation sequel to the 2010 hit How to Train Your Dragon, based on the book series by Cressida Cowell. At this point, we don’t know that much more about his character besides the fact that he is described as “a villainous warrior.” Harington would join the returning cast of Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, T.J. Miller, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Kristen Wiig.
Dean DeBlois is back to write and direct the How to Train Your Dragon 2. Bonnie Arnold will produce again and Chris Sanders, who co-write and co-directed the original with DeBlois, is on board to executive produce with DeBlois.
How to Train Your Dragon 2 is slated to hit theaters on June 20, 2014.
