Legendary composer John Williams hasn’t scored a Harry Potter movie since Prisoner of Azkaban though his original Potter theme has been an integral part of every subsequent film. While the work done without him since has been adequate, there is nothing better than a sweeping John Williams score and there’s a chance that he may return to wrap the series up musically for the final film.
Williams has talked before about his desire to be there for the big finish and it seems there may be efforts under way to get him involved. Leaky Cauldron caught up with Potter producer David Heyman who told them,
“We have talked to John Williams and a lot of it will depend on his schedule for [Harry Potter] seven part two. If we can make work , and that’s a big if, for his schedule and ours then yes.”
