Add the future leader of the human resistance to Kevin Williamson’s new project. As SciFi Mafia previously reported, Williamson is working on pilot for The CW on the television adaptation of another L.J. Smith’s series Secret Circle (Williamson brought the popular The Vampire Diaries to television). Thomas Dekker (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) has been cast as the male lead and love interest, Adam, the oldest member of the top-secret coven that a young woman called Cassie discovers in her search for her own identity as a witch.

Cassie, who will be played by Britt Robertson (Life Unexpected), find out that “she’s also the key that will unlock a centuries-old battle between good and evil.”
