Jerry Bruckheimer and Walt Disney Pictures are once again joining forces, for an epic space adventure film called Lightspeed, written by Terry Rossio (Pirates of the Caribbean, National Treasure) and Bill Marsilii (Deja Vu). Bruckheimer has reportedly envisioned the film as a live-action 3D project.

Variety reports that the film is said to center on a young pilot who makes the Earth Interstellar Racing Team and must take his ship on a perilous journey across the galaxy on the brink of war.
