Lionsgate and Millennium Films have allegedly chosen 30-year-old Jason Momoa (Stargate Atlantis, Game of Thrones) to play the lead role in Marcus Nispel’s reinvention of Robert E. Howard’s CONAN. Apparently Momoa was chosen over Kellan Lutz (Twilight) and Jared Padalecki (Supernatural), who were also in contention for the role.

Production is scheduled to begin on March 15th in Bulgaria.
