“Dexter” actor James Remar has become the latest actor to join the upcoming adaptation of Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner’s “Red.” Remar has been cast in an unspecified role alongside previously announced stars Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren, John C. Reilly and Mary-Louise Parker. Julian McMahon, Ernest Borgnine, Richard Dreyfuss and Brian Cox are also reportedly in negotiations to appear in the film.
Remar is perhaps best known these days for his role as Harry Morgan on “Dexter” but he also has several comic book related voice acting credits to his name including appearances in “Batman: The Brave and The Bold”, “The Spectacular Spider-Man”, “The Batman” and “Justice League Unlimited.”
