J.J. Abrams is purportedly developing is a movie based upon the Micronauts toy line. According to The Wall Street Journal, Abrams is in talks to bring the Micronauts to the big screen.

If you don’t already know, Micronauts were a popular series of toys during the ’70s, which came from Japan, and were imported into North America by Mego. The toyline was based on 3.75″ figures and boasted a wide assortment of vehicles and accessories. Although the toy line ended in 1980, a Marvel Comics began a series about “Micronauts” in a 1979.
