Get your permission slip signed, director Ivan Reitman wants to take us on a Sci-Fi Field Trip! The Montecito Picture Company, run by Ivan Reitman, Tom Pollock and Joe Medjuck has picked up Jordan Cahan‘s sci-fi adventure comedy entitled, Field Trip. The film will be co-financed by Paramount Pictures and Walden Media.

THR says that the storyline is being kept under wraps, but is known to involve time travel, a high school teacher and his students.
