The seventh Doctor was played by Sylvester McCoy and most newer fans probably know him better than the rest because he’s made a few guest appearances with the modern Doctors. He was known for keeping an umbrella with him that carried the red question mark handle, and the most memorable companion was Ace (Sophie Aldred) the punk.
