We told you two weeks ago that Daniel Craig was in talks to replace Robert Downey Jr. in the Jon Favreau directed comic book adaptation Cowboys & Aliens. Now we’ve found out that Daniel Craig has officially been cast in the film to play the lead character in the film Zeke Jackson.

Zeke Jackson is the lead in Cowboys & Aliens, a Platinum Studios comic book series set in the mid-1800s. In Silver City, Arizona, Apache Indians and Western settlers must put their differences aside when a spaceship crash lands in their city. The aliens plan to quash the Wild West and enslave humanity, but the cowboys and Apache have other plans.
