UGO has reported that a close source tells them that actor Tommy Lee Jones is in talks for a role in the film. They don’t have any information on what role Jones is up for, though many people are speculating that they could be eying Jones for the role of General Chester Phillips, who recruits and trains Chris Evans‘ Steve Rogers in the Super Soldier program.

The First Avenger: Captain America hits theaters on July 22, 2011.
