Jon Favreau‘s Iron Man 2 opens at 12:01 a.m. May 7th and if you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, you may want to do so rather quickly! Fandango is reporting that Iron Man 2 tickets are accounting for 32% of their ticket sales and that number is rising quickly.

The original Iron Man earned $318 million domestically, nearly $600 million worldwide. In the movie’s opening weekend alone it earned $98 million. The current opening weekend record is held by Christopher Nolan‘s The Dark Knight with $158 million.

AC/DC‘s IRON MAN 2 soundtrack holds the top spot on U.K., Ireland, Germany and Austria’s charts, the number two spot in the U.S. and debuted in the top five in Norway, France, Spain and The Netherlands.
