Indie Comic Writer Makes Web Series To Inspire Future Artists

One of the hardest things about being an artist is getting the top brass to realize what you have to offer your industry. Whether you’re an illustrator, a writer, or a musician you have to really fight for your chance to shine, and when you’re one in a thousand other creative souls that are just like you, it can be a daunting process.

Indie comic book writer Michael “Frick” Weber knows exactly how you feel and he’s put together a really cool web series called Comic Book Storytellers to help you understand the process of becoming one of the coveted chosen. In the series, Frick follows the artists of titles such as Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, Teen Titans, and Fathom and asks them all the questions every aspiring writer or artist wants to know: “How did you break into comic books?” The videos are interesting, funny, and a great start to a very insightful tool for anyone out there who wants to break into the comic book industry.
