The Fate of the World Rests in a Hand of Cards
Lloyd wants to go public with the fact that the ‘experiment’ that he and Simon Campos were involved in was the cause of the blackouts/ FFs and subsequent twenty million deaths. Lloyd sends an email to those involved about going public. Simon disagrees with this move and says that he does not know what exactly caused the blackout. Simon decides that they settle this with a game of Texas Hold ‘Em. Lloyd outsmarts Simon with his newly acquired skill of slight of hand.
Changing the Game
Al’s sacrifice for Celia, a woman he’s never met, has inspired all those who dread what they saw in their FF. Being able to change the future has brought the Benfords closer to each other and their dedication towards their marriage and Nicole and Demetri have hope that they will not die.
“If Al’s death proved anything it’s that our choices still matter. Now more than ever” –Stanton Wedeck says to Janice.
The FBI gets a lead on the man with a three star tattoo on his left forearm. The man was caught on cell phone video robbing someone of a briefcase and shooting him. They set up a trap to catch him and Mark kills the man with the three star tattoo. Does this action really change his future?
QED
The men that killed the man for his briefcase said something about QED as they were leaving the scene. Simon mentions QED during his poker game with Lloyd. QED is an abbreviation for Quantum Electrodynamics, describing how light and matter interact with one another. (I am not a physicist nor a mathematician, so let me get back to you on more on QED.)
FBI has a Mole
The Mosaic team realizes that the bad guys keep being one step ahead of them and events like the attack in DC and the fact that someone had to let them into bldg to kill Mark in his FF meant that they have a mole within their ranks.
Jericho PMC is After Tracy
Aaron’s daughter, Tracy, is not dead after all and has been on the run for the last two years from Jericho, the private military contractor. She witnessed them slaughtering an entire village of civilians in Afghanistan and they attacked her Humvee after she told her superiors. She was blown from the vehicle and lost part of her right leg from the knee down. A field medic, Kamir Dajon (sp?), looked after her after the accident. Aaron reveals what he saw in his FF to Tracy that he was with her, surrounded by guards in a hut in Afghanistan. A man with scar (Kamir) says “The account has been verified” and Aaron gives him a package of what could be money. Aaron asks Mark for his help. Tracy freaks out when Aaron tells her that he’s told Mark.
The Three Stars are a Mark of a Group
We see at the end of the ep that the three star tattoo is really a mark of an entire group of men. Who are these men? Are they mercenaries for hire?
A new rendering of the Suspect Zero tape reveals that the subject is wearing a large ring on his right hand. At the end of the ep, we see that the man who hired the three star tattoo man to kill for the briefcase open it to reveal a set of seven rings of which the seventh is missing. These rings allow the wearer to remain conscious during a period of blackout/FF. Who is this man? Who made these rings? How do they work?
OTHER BURNING QUESTIONS:
Who are these other people involved with the ‘experiment’ that caused the blackout that Lloyd sends the email to? Whois this Myhill person?
What is this “Sanctuary” group that Nicole picked up the flyer at the hospital for?
Aaron’s FF was fuzzy and in flashes as well. Why?
Will Janice be able to get pregnant after all her body’s been through from the shooting?
Will Demetri quit the FBI at Zoe’s insistence?
Once more, the question about Simon is who is Annabelle?
COMMENTARY:
Seems hokey to me that the FBI can magnify the cell phone video image to see the three star tattoo, but not see the gunman’s face! Can you say fail?
Lingerie set that Mark gave Olivia resembles one she wore in her FF, but I am not convinced that it is the same set- the FF set did not seem to have a bow on the bra… Still, Olivia throws it out so she will never wear it.
Hahah! I was right. Tracy is missing part of a leg.
