Hugo Weaving (The Matrix) could be reuniting with Joe Johnston, director of The Wolfman. Weaving is in talks to star as the villainous Red Skull in the Johnston directed, The First Avenger: Captain America. THR is reporting that talks with Weaving are in a delicate stage that will play out in the next day or so.

The First Avenger: Captain America is slated to hit theaters on July 22, 2011.
