It’s apparently SUPERHERO CASTING RUMOR WEEKEND!

AICN has another casting scoop this time from an interview with actor Matthias Schweighöfer (Valkyrie) from the German edition of GQ. Schweighöfer reveals two big names related to Marvel’s Thor movie.

Schweighöfer said that he is in the running for a role in Thor, but he also mentioned that Jude Law and Robert De Niro have apparently already joined the cast.

We already know that Thor’s cast includes Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Jaimie Alexander, and Colm Feore, and if this is true – it will certainly add an interesting twist to the cast.

Remember that both De Niro and Law have ventured into the sci-fi fantasy film world in the past, De Niro was in Stardust and Law is definitely no stranger to the genre, having been in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, Artificial Intelligence: AI, and Gattaca to name a few.
