The 2012 People’s Choice Awards were presented earlier this month to actors and productions in film and television, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 dominated, taking home four awards.  Sci-fi/fantasy shows were nominated in several categories, and scored big in a few. Favorite Network TV Drama – Supernatural

Favorite TV Drama Actress – Nina Dobrev

Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show – Supernatural

Some hubub has come from the fact that, for whatever reason, the Favorite Network TV Drama award was not presented during the broadcast. Whether it was because the winner was a “genre” show or not, we now give the cast, production and crew of Supernatural an extra WOOOO HOOOOO and hearty congratulations for a well-deserved win.
