Today marks what would have been the 92nd birthday for Jack Kirby, affectionately known as The King of Comics!
“The King” has been widely recognized as one of the greatest and most influential artists in the history of comic books. He is not only one of the founding fathers of Marvel Comics, but also the creator of beloved characters like Mr. Miracle, and the co-creator of legendary comics like Captain America, The Fantastic Four, and The Incredible Hulk.
Kirby revolutionized comics with dynamic composition and cinematic storytelling, his style became the norm in superhero comics and is still imitated today.
