We told you a bit about Zack Snyder’s next film, Animal Logic’s 3D animated feature, Guardians of Ga’Hoole back in November. film is an adaptation of the 14 book bestselling kids series by author Kathryn Lasky and illustrator Richard Cowdry. The film is based on the first three installments of the book series: The Capture, The Journey, and The Rescue.
Now, Warner Bros./Village Roadshow Pictures have decided to change the name of the film to Legend of the Guardians. The new title is meant to avoid confusion to those who might not know what “Ga’Hoole” means.
While we haven’t had a flurry of news about the film, nor have we seen so much as a single image, poster, teaser or anything of that nature, you’ll be able to catch a full trailer for the film in front of Alice In Wonderland.

The story follows a young barn owl named Soren, who is kidnapped by owls of St. Aggie’s,where owlets are brainwashed into becoming soldiers. He and his new friends escape to the island of Ga’Hoole, to assist its noble, wise owls who fight the army being created by the wicked rulers of St. Aggie’s.
The stellar voice cast for the film includes – Sam Neill, Geoffrey Rush, Hugo Weaving, David Wenham, Helen Mirren, Abbie Cornish, Emilie de Ravin, Ryan Kwanten, Jay Laga’aia, Miriam Margolyes, Emily Barclay and Jim Sturgess.
