Warner Bros has reportedly signed up Double Helix to develop a video game based on the Green Lantern comic book character.

According to Venture Beat, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 game will be released to coincide with the planned Green Lantern movie, which is due to hit the big screen on June 17, 2011.

Despite currently working on a GI Joe game for Electronics Arts, Double Helix is believed to have already started developing the superhero project.
