Graphic Novel LANGLEY HIGH Gets Picked Up for a Big Screen Adaptation Before It Even Gets Published

Comics and graphic novels have been serving as a wealth of source material for Hollywood lately. Atlas Entertainment is actually preempting the graphic novel it’s adapting for the big screen by working on the film before the graphic novel even hits the publishers.

Deadline reports that Atlas Entertainment will be adapting an upcoming graphic novel, Langley High, from BenderSpink’s J.C. Spink and Christopher Cosmos. The studio has enlisted Tomm Coker and Daniel Freedman (Undying Love) to adapt the graphic novel. Atlas will produce Langley High with Benderspink.

Langley High follows “a student from Langley High, located 1.7 miles from CIA headquarters. His father is captured in Russia and when he’s disavowed as a CIA agent, the student teams with an undercover CIA agent teacher from the high school and goes on a mission of revenge.”
