The Rob Marshall directed, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is shooting in Hawaii this summer. We already know that Johnny Depp’s – Captain Jack Sparrow will be joined by Ian McShane (Deadwood, Kings) as the legendary pirate Blackbeard, along with Penelope Cruz as Blackbeard’s Daughter. We also know that Geoffrey Rush will return as Barbossa.

Now comes word from Production Weekly that Stephen Graham is currently in talks to join the cast a character named “Scram”, and Max Irons and Sam Claflin are presumably vying for the role of a yet unnamed character that will fill the spot left by the absent Will Turner/Orlando Bloom.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is slated to hit theaters on May 20, 2011.
