Gore Verbinski & Terry Rossio are Bringing Supernatural LAW AND ORDER To Fox

Fox is working with director Gore Verbinski (Rango, Pirates of the Caribbean) to develop a supernatural police procedural entitled Magical Law. The series will be written by Pirates scribe Terry Rossio and is “set in a world where the existence of supernatural beings is commonplace and follows the specialized cops and lawyers who face the unique challenges of prosecuting otherworldly crimes.”

Both Verbinski and Rossio will serve as the show’s executive producers along with Jonathan Krauss of Verbinski’s Blink Wink Productions. 2oth Century Fox TV and Blink Wink Productions are jointly producing the show.

What do you think of this concept? Will it be a hit to entice in the viewers normally drawn to police procedurals? Or will they pull a Whedon on Verbinski?
